Rial and toman: clarify the unit
Iranian prices may be quoted in rials or tomans. In customary usage, one toman equals ten rials. Always ask which unit is being used, and put the unit on your written quote and receipt.
Do not rely on a fixed exchange rate
Rates vary by date and type of exchange. Confirm a current rate and any fees before exchanging money. A website estimate does not fix the rate for a later payment.
